Fantastic album to hear! Thank you! Ann Brun's voice is brilliantly fragile, almost brittle in "Don't Give Up". Perfect timbre for the song. I only wish Peter Gabriel would discover the voice and tone of Swedish artist and songwriter Sofia Karlsson. Well worth a google.

I seem to recall PG's version of Summertime was one of Larry Adler's last performances. Peter's never been afraid to fail in the search for perfection to vaguely plagiarize his own summary of Kate Bush's career.

If I could be anyone alive today other than myself, it would be my man, Peter Brian (should that be "Brain") Gabriel. My son and I saw him and Mr. "Sting Sumner" (as Peter affectionately called him on stage) at the United Center in 2016 during their “Rock, Paper, Scissors” tour. It was brilliant. At one point, Peter skipped across the stage like a 5 year old. I loved it. I feel a close connection with has thoughtful and thought provoking lyrics. And his music and voice always pull at the strings of my heart. God Bless you, Mister Gabriel…!!!
