Listening this, again and again, makes me feel something strange. Admiration, of course. Some sadness, indeed. The world will never see nothing like this again. First, Genesis people are pearls. In the other hand, new generations are coming from bad to worst in the history of mankind. Computers killed their talent. In the end, Eric Woolfson (taken ideas from Isaac Asimov) was right: "the rise of the machine and the decline of man, which paradoxically coincided with his discovery of the wheel..."

When I first heard Genesis record (1972 ), I felt strange too....and still do....Their music opened new places in my mind , and even though being then new , for some reason , it seems that emotions their music created in me , I have always had , only.....hidden somewhere deep in my imagination , making me a life--long fan .... But, it is indeed very sad that new generation will never be able to appreciate sensitivities of that kind. Political correctness , Holywood stars, lack of reading books that enrich minds, computers , " me" attitude and increasing lack of commen knoweledge killed not only talents they may had, but burned and destroyed those fine and delicate threads in their souls , threads, that any decent person must poses because those are strings that vibrate in unison with decency and finer things in life.

Yes, beautiful and nostalgic of a time past. These musicians studied classical music and knew what they were doing, whether progressive or pop. Brilliant musicians. Some of the best of the second half of the 20th century. My youth was built on Genesis' music.

That transition from The Lamia to Guide Vocal is simply phenomenal. It really illuminates how much of the spirit of Genesis links their work throughout the decades, regardless of changes to its particular line-up. Great work overall!

The Genesis era when Collins took over from Gabriel is sooooo deliciously melancholic, without ever becoming "sirupy". The other Genesis era's are absolutely great, never a bad album, but the aforementioned era is just a few steps higher on the road to perfection....

Hey, i want to thank you for this compilation, for some reason i´ve never payed much attention to the "And then there were three" album, and because of your choice of including "Many too Many" i really got into that album, so much pleasure! "Many too Many" is such a beautiful song

Entangled is maybe the best Genesis track of the Collins-Era, and feels like a continuation of the musical box, both lyrically and musically.

Entangled and Ripples sold the Post PG Genesis to me - never thought I would recover from Peter Gabriel's departure - Now firmly a Steve Hackett/PG fan predominantly.

Fabulous selection of great tracks really takes me back listening to Gabriel on vocals on the early stuff not sure there's anything unreleased here but that doesn't matter the quality of tracks is impeccable and showcases just what an amazing band Genesis were and conversely how poor modern music is by comparison.

Gabriels vocals reduce me to tears at times...beautiful tones...

Sublime pieces on their own. Yet you could have pick different pieces and it would perhaps not made me cry with joy, ecstasy, consciousness that we all somehow created the music along with you and the band...peace to you is peace to me 🥰
